I have used this excellent body shop for years, and every time, I am impressed with the professionalism and courtesies of the staff. I have had several cars worked on, and the estimate is always reasonable and the work, impeccable.

These people are the best. I have a house with teenage drivers and something is inevitably going to "happen". Schaffers does excellent work on everything they address, they are even willing to consider the needs of the individual client and find a solution that is effective AND cost effective. Another trip from Kentucky to Ames, Ia for body work. Some people think I'm crazy to drive 700 miles for body work but I don't trust anyone down here. Shaffer's do quality work at a reasonable price and everyone there is so friendly. I have complete faith in their work. Thank You again. You did a great job as usual.

We moved from Ames, Ia to Kentucky but work we have needed done we still drive back to Ames to have Shaffer Auto Body do the work. We find it is worth the 700 mi trip for quality work.

Shaffer's did an excellent job on my car collision repairs. They were very attentive and professional from the moment of my first call through the picking up of my car after the repairs were done. Their work is top notch and I always felt at ease knowing that they were taking care of my car. I have always gone to Shaffer's for my car repair needs and will continue to do so in the future. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Shaffer's is very quick with estimates and very competively priced. From the moment you step into the building, you can see it is a very well run, professional establishment. This is a strange thing to write (snd admit), but unfortunately I have used them several times (a few accidents :( ), and every time they have been friendly, helpful, offered a loaner car, and repairs were done quickly and well. They are listed as a prefered body shop with many insurance companies.

We are giving Shaffers 5/5 stars, but only because we aren't able to give them 10/10! The customer service as Shaffers is amazing and why we only deal with them!!!!. Sam, Chad, Janelle, and Austin, we have dealt with one or all of them for years whenever we have had vehicle issues or needed auto-body/collision repair. Janelle is the perfect front desk employee. She is so welcoming, personable, and cares about who walks through the door. Chad is efficient, trustworthy, always responds in a timely manner never putting us on the backburner, he gets estimates back to us asap, and most importantly he keeps us updated and in the loop. I am a nurse practitioner and we own our own business, so when others go above and beyond the same, it is comforting to know they truly care and it shows. If we need a loaner car or if we have a break down and need a tow, Shaffer's bends over backwards and go the extra mile to ensure our happiness, taking care of us like family. Customer satisfaction is their main goal and they knock it out of the ballpark every single time! Their prices are reasonable, affordable, and competitive when comparing. Owen and Spencer we can't leave out! They are unbelievably talented individuals with years of experience and knowledge between them. They have done previous work on our Escape and Jeep and other company vehicles, and every time we are so glad they are on the payroll. :) Most recently, after the 2020 derecho, both our 2019 Ram and F150 had extensive damage. When we picked both trucks up this week, Owen and Spencer did an amazing job! We drove away in our trucks that looked like new and were absolutely beautiful both inside and out!
