Chad Borwick, Owner
As an Owner at Shaffer’s Auto Body, Chad Borwick manages the repair process from beginning to end. He coordinates with insurance companies, keeps you updated and walks your vehicle through every step from the initial estimate to parts and paint until you’re back on the road. He still occasionally gets his hands dirty back in the shop.
As a certified I-CAR Platinum estimator, Chad has specialized I-CAR training as a Platinum steel structural technician, Platinum steel non-structural technician, and Platinum paint technician.
Chad grew up in Nevada, Iowa, where he enjoyed repairing cars as a teenager and learned welding, machining, and other skills at Nevada High School. He started at Shaffer’s Auto Body from 1994 to 1996 as a Painter Assistant while he earned his AAS in Collision Repair. Chad worked at Nevada Collision from 1996 until February of 2000, when he came back to work at Shaffer's as a combination Tech before moving into the office in October of 2010.
Chad and his wife live in Nevada, Iowa. He keeps busy with their four kids’ activities, such as coaching sports and teaching Sunday school. He also enjoys hunting and fishing, working on his house and yard and spending time with friends and family.
Justin Fancher, Owner
As an Owner at Shaffer’s Auto Body, Justin Fancher manages the repair process from beginning to end. He coordinates with insurance companies, answers your questions and concerns and walks your vehicle through every step from the initial estimate to parts and paint until you’re back on the road. He is certified as an I-CAR Platinum estimator.
Originally from Audubon, Iowa, Justin started working at Shaffer’s Auto Body in 2003 while he studied business at Iowa State University. He graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree, and has been an Estimator at Shaffer’s Auto Body since 2006.
He and his lovely wife live in Grimes, Iowa, with their three boys. Justin enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors hunting or camping.
